It boasts several impressive titles, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.niche.com\/places-to-live\/the-woodlands-montgomery-tx\/\">\u201c#1 best city to live in America,\u201d \u201c#2 best city to buy a house in America,\u201d and \u201c#2 best city to raise a family in America.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>(You can imagine why we included it on our list of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.getbellhops.com\/blog\/what-are-the-best-neighborhoods-in-houston\/\">best neighborhoods in Houston<\/a> for 2022!)<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Where is The Woodlands exactly? It\u2019s in the Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown metro area, north if you\u2019re traveling from Houston itself on I-45. Some of the top places to work in the area include Baker Hughes, CB&amp;I, and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>As for schools, there are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greatschools.org\/texas\/the-woodlands\/\">62<\/a> nearby, many of which are highly rated (an A+, to be exact). This thriving suburb is in southwest Harris County, just under 7 miles from downtown, making it one of the closest suburbs to Houston.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The crime rate is lower than many other parts of Houston, and there are many amenities nearby that you\u2019d find in some of the larger suburbs around the city.
