There are also plenty of affordable golf courses, an ice skating rink, a roller skating rink, a skate park, an indoor children\u2019s playground, and two skate parks.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Schools in Kendall<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Kendall has several excellent schools that have a low ratio of 17 students for every teacher. Part of the Miami-Dade County School District, schools in Kendall include Riviera Preparatory School, American High School Academy, and Leewood Elementary School, among others.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Homes in Kendall<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Kendal real estate ranges from the mid $100,000s to almost $2 million if you\u2019re looking to buy, and rentals range from just under $1,000 to around $8,000 a month.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Key_Biscayne\"><\/span>Key Biscayne<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>If you\u2019re looking for some of the best public schools for your kids, then Key Biscayne is where it\u2019s at. Because house prices are higher here, many families rent in this area just so they can get their kids into public schools. Violent crime is much lower than other parts of the Miami metro area. Key Biscayne also has its own newspaper, <em>The Islander News.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>What\u2019s Happening in Key Biscayne<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>There\u2019s a large, family-friendly public beach at Crandon Park, among other beaches to enjoy, as well as the Miami Seaquarium, which is a good place to take the family.
