Austin.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>But a lot has happened since 1839. At this point, if you don\u2019t hop on Austin quick, it\u2019ll ride away without you. Austin is now the fastest growing large city in the country. People are moving here to get a taste of the year-round warm weather, nature oases, incredible food, live music, and laid-back culture.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The city\u2019s 100+ neighborhoods are divided up into general regions (ex: Southeast Austin, Central Austin, West Austin, etc.). And these regions are separated by boundaries like Hwy. 1, Interstate 35, and Lady Bird Lake. Surrounding Austin\u2019s perimeters are neighborhoods and mini-cities like Kyle, Wimberley, and Round Rock. Cherrywood has all the perks of being downtown, but with quieter streets lined with cute little homes and parks dotting the neighborhood.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4>What\u2019s Happening in Cherrywood<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Cherrywood is home to the Willowbrook Reach and Patterson Neighborhood Park, and it also neighbors the Mueller Lake Park and Southwest Greenway. In fact, the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) recognized Mueller as one of the most sustainable communities in the nation. Flightpath Coffee accommodates its many patrons with a large seating area and outdoor patio. And Foreign &amp; Domestic offers a finer side to dining in the neighborhood. Exploring North Loop, you\u2019ll find local shops that are effortlessly hip with an extremely accepting and welcoming atmosphere.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>One of the area\u2019s largest hangout spots is Workhorse, a brewery boasting of 50 taps and an outdoor area packed with jovial locals squeezed together along massive picnic tables. Some of the top spots include the mural-decked East Side King where Asia meets Austin. Kerbey Lane Cafe serves breakfast all day and some amazing breakfast tacos.
